Is it possible to explore the world from Tulsa, Oklahoma? You bet.
For the last four years, Sasha Martin, her picky husband Keith, and daughter Ava have been eating a meal for every country in the world, A-Z, all from their little kitchen in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Each week is a new country and a new Adventure.

In the beginning, Sasha prepared the meals in the laundry room, so as to not wake her 7 month-old daughter, she hosted dozens of dinner parties to cajole her Mr. Picky into trying the food, and she nearly poisoned herself by improperly preparing yucca.

Today, four-year old Ava helps mom roll sushi, Mr Picky has learned to embrace food as an adventure, not an attack, and Sasha is happy to be living the spiced life.

Sasha documents her stovetop travels at Her work has been featured on Whole Living, Travel with Rick Steves, Huffington Post, the Smithsonian, Relish Magazine and more. She speaks regularly with schools and other organizations about her family’s adventure. National Geographic will be publishing Sasha’s memoir in 2014.
